Hi! Yeah, wow, some stuff has been happening, hasn't it?

Regular listeners of this podcast know all about the constant technical issues we have battled against since day one of this project. It is no exaggeration that cranking out even a half hour of this podcast takes hours and hours of work every single day. Having to do it two or three times each time because of software failure, internet problems, audio interference and other interruptions is literally exhausting. Paired with everything else we are all dealing with in a plague is a lot... so SJ raised the white flag. Something had to give, and the only cause of optional stress that could be removed was this, so here we are. Sometimes self care really sucks, doesn't it? Extensive equipment tests, microphone replacements, endless test recordings, EVP sessions to give a "floor" for whatever wanted to speak, room changes, software changes and other methods could not lead to any sort of rational reason for the continual and severe technical issues plaguing recording sessions. All we can pinpoint is that it is the specific combination of SJ/Sara and Andrea alone that whatever "it" is doesn't like. We even had our friends listen to some of the raw yelling, growling, and wah-wah-wah-ing (it doesn't sound nice) of us being talked over, and there was nothing of value there either. Even Dave (SJ's husband) had to admit: "You guys are definitely being fucked with." We have two more episodes "in the can" for you - a large portion of episode 12 was once again unusable, so we are debating trying to find ten more minutes of content to round it out or just release the decent :20 and call it good. We had better luck with Episode 13 - whatever *it* is that doesn't want us to talk about nuns really wants us to talk about Pan, we guess. The audio for that episode is beautiful; make of that what you will. We still want to talk to our friends we had lined up, and hope to at some point in the future. Perhaps after a bit of reevaluating, troubleshooting, and rest we will be ready to dig into synchronicities again. We have some really smart friends, and our readers deserve to hear their viewpoints, technical goblins be damned!

Thank you, Mothpit Network.

It goes without saying that if it weren't for the founding of the Mothpit Network by Sage and Sam, we never would have started this podcast. We will be forever grateful for the guidance, encouragement and networking we received through our time with the Mothpit. SJ and Andrea felt that with the status of this project being unclear, we couldn't continue the commitment to the MothPit Network that it deserves, and have decided to part ways as a result. Again, we thank them so much for everything we have learned from them, and will continue to support and enjoy their work! Their contributions are the foundation of this podcast. What this means for the future Two Witches is to be determined. Maybe the content will change. Maybe the half hour requirement will change. Maybe after a break we'll be ready to battle technical goblins and try to distill some of this Brick Madness into something coherent again. Maybe this will end here with lucky number 13 - which was always SJ's number in Volleyball and Softball as a kid. Either way, thank you so much for listening. As we always say - until next time, take care of yourself, and don't be an asshole.
